the love of horses

Just like so many little girls, my love of horses started very early. From romping around on the school playground pretending to "be" horses, collecting Breyer models, and to finally leasing a mare, then on too owning my own. I have learned a deep appreciation and love for these wonderful creatures. I have experienced many breeds and disciplines along the way and I know this helps me to really capture the animal in my photography. It truly takes a horse person to know the animals, the breed standards, the correct angle and communication with the owners to get that perfect shot.
